Talking to myself

Hello lovely people,

Several times lately I have caught myself talking to myself… well actually, not quite true, the first time I was talking to flowers in my garden… and its made me happy.

Why I hear you ask; people are generally embarrassed to admit to talking to one’s self!

Well. It’s because I always use to talk to myself. Not constantly you understand, but frequently. And yes, I was self conscious about it. But then I had the nervous breakdown…

The thing is, you see, I hadn’t been talking to myself for a number of years. I hadn’t even realised I wasn’t until I spoke to the flowers. It means ~ and this is where happy ๐Ÿ˜Š steps in ~ that I am returning to my old self.

Yippee!!

    1. Yay. I’m never going to feel embarrassed about it again! To lose something of yourself and then regain it is rather incredible really. I’m glad to hear I made you smile …and apparently plants benefit from our carbon dioxide emissions ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  1. Talking to yourself is definitely a happiness booster. I do this all the time in the garden. The two dogs follow me around so I use their names a lot in case someone is listening. The dogs always take an interest in the conversation.

    1. Yes, just in case a treat is involved ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ !! Dogs are such great company and they don’t usually answer back which is great as it doesn’t interrupt the thinking process ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Bertie loves being in the garden with us. We also have a little robin who is very interested in what we are doing so s/he is spoken to as well.

  2. I talk to myself all the time, especially when I am trying to do something difficult, I will talk myself through it, and of course, tell myself off if I screw something up. I think most people talk to themselves, especially crafters! Good to hear that you are returning to your old self. Keep chunnering away and stay happy, let’s face it, talking to ourselves at times is the only time we really get a sensible reply LOL
