3] At what age did you start to write and what was your motivation for doing so?
I use to avoid writing until I was in my late thirties. I started a foundation course that included writing a few essays. I found I couldnβt construct sentences. My husband tutored me, bless him. He was a good teacher because two years later I started an undergraduate degree where I was able to pretty much able to write unaided. By the second year I was doing very well.
4] Does writing/creativity come naturally to you or do you struggle to invent something inspirational each day/week/month?
Iβm always creating in one way or another. I find it easy to write about fibre and textiles because it isβ¦

Wonderful to read about your creative journey and that when you are blocked you just move onto another area in the textile field. Very wise advice to be flexible and to keep things playful. Losing the joy kills creativity.
