Hi lovelies,
I’ve recently been trying to alter my email notifications as I was getting so so many but in the process I don’t think WordPress could cope. I know of one blogger that somehow got unfollowed and I didn’t realise until I came upon her blog again and saw the little button inviting me to follow. Oh dear, methinks, how many other people have been unfollowed unintentionally…?
The other problem is that the notifying via email is only working in part.
If you have not seen me visiting in the last couple of months please can you let me know? Thank you.
I shall have to go through each of my approx 800 follows slowly as to not confuse WordPress and check each one but that won’t bring back those blogs that I may somehow have unfollowed.
Please accept my apologies β€
You are such a dear! Iβve had moments like this too. There are moments when wp can be a full time job! π take care πβ€οΈ

Thank you so much β€ I’m sorry you’ve had problems too.
I’ve been calling you Ellie but I noticed people calling you Suzanne in the comments on your blog…?

I wasnβt sure about wp when I first began so I named my site after my black lab mix, Ellie. π She is my sweet girl. Please call me Suzanne β€οΈ

WordPress certainly seems to have some gremlins that like to mess around with things.

It sounds like it isn’t necessarily me then. Thanks Ashley π

I read a variation of this the other day from others. Good luck with it. WP still has be email-following a few hundred people and it does not let me shift to WP reader follow which is my preference now, and has even blocked all follow buttons. Sigh. Technology!

That sounds very frustrating. Ah, thanks for the encouragement π

The glitch that annoys me is when you see a post on the reader page that says this is a private blog which you are following and you need to sign up to view post, but there is no indication of who it is. Total mystery.

Oh, that would be frustrating. I’ve not come across that.

I haven’t seen you about on my blog for a while but no need to apologise … there are only so many hours in a day and one cannot be in all places all the time. I will see you when I see you! π

I often struggle to leave comments on bloglovin blogs, yours being one of them. I think it worked last time though. I’ll go check to see if I’ve missed any of your posts π

It is frustrating! WordPress does kick followers off every now and then, and it can be very hard to catch! I know it takes me a while to realize I haven’t heard from a regular reader for a while, and even then, I tend to just thing they are taking a break from the blogging world rather than wonder if there is a problem. Thanks for being so vigilant!

Thank you Ann π It’s not always easy to find people’s blogs either as I can’t always remember blog names.
