The stashbusting blankets CAL etc…

I’m been busy hooking away on my blankets today. Here they are…

Remember I showed youย this a few days ago that is inspired byย Eleonora’s CAL (for my seven year old granddaughter)…

Well, I’ve started another one for my five year old grandson. I’ve just finished the front…

There’s a few other things on the go as well. I’ve nearly finished weaving this…

…and this second sock…

There’s also a couple of other items but they can wait for another day.

I’m really working hard on the stashbusting malarkey. Once the second jumper and the woven throw are completed I have an idea for starting another stashbusting blanket. It seems that I can’t have too many blankets ๐Ÿ˜†

Bye for now and much love from me ๐Ÿ‘‹ ๐ŸŒผย โค

Another finished item :)

I started this jumper last Tuesday evening and would have finished it by Friday but we had the most wonderful of interruptions – grandchildren, daughter and son in law ๐Ÿ™‚ – for three days.

This jumper is for my granddaughter who turned seven last year. The sleeve colours are her choice. I made the pattern (as in the shape) up as I went along. Do you recognise the colourful pattern? Yes, it’s fromย Eleonora’s crochet-along Coastal blanket stash busterย  After I had finished last week’s rows I got to thinking about how it might look as the back and front of a jumper.

I mostly used Stylecraft Special dk which isn’t a yarn I would usually use for a garment, but I am stashbusting. I left the neck plain as I thought a picot edge could be annoying. I adding a bit of picot to the sleeve edges and a crocheted pompom edge to the bottom of the garment.

I had hoped to finish it while they were here but I was too tired in the evenings. I think Lovely Miss will be pleased.

I now need to crochet the latest rows on my blankets. Bye ๐Ÿ‘‹ for now ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒผโค๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•๐Ÿถ
